ACTIVITY REPORT 2022

I. TRAINING ACTIVITY

CiTi members coordinated students from:

  1. Faculty of Applied Sciences;
  2. Faculty of Energetics;
  3. Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology;
  4. Faculty of Electrical Engineering;
  5. Master program: Theory of Coding and Information Storage.

This activity has resulted in the elaboration of articles and scientific papers presented at various conferences, national and international scientific communication sessions, as well as at international workshops.

PRACTICE 2022 (undergraduate cycle))

On the basis of the protocol (No. 6775-6777/10.06.2022) for the organisation of the practice concluded between CiTi and the Faculty of Applied Sciences, from 27 June to 2 September 2022, in the framework of the The following students have completed the internship (Faculty of Applied Sciences, Specialization MIAI, 3rd year), under the guidance of Conf. Dr. Emil Simion and Lect. Dr. Corina Cipu.

Learners from cthe internship framework had as a training activity the development of skills in the field ofthe direction of the following programming languages: Python and LaTex as well as the research activity of deepening basic notions related to cryptology:

  • Hash functions
  • Blockchain
  • Elliptic curves

The practice took the form of Power Point presentations on what was learned and a C++ program related to elliptic curves.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE "CIRCLE" ( 2022)

(IITC members were co-organisers of this international event)

The 32nd edition of the International Student Conference "CERC" 2022 organised in online format by the Technical Military Academy "Ferdinand I" took place on 12-13 May 2022, in partnership with the following prestigious universities and military academies in the country and din străinătate:

The participants were 305 students from 29 military and civilian higher education institutions in the country and din strainatate and 230 scientific papers were presented in the 15 sections.

Centre for Research and Training in Innovative Techniques of Applied Mathematics in Engineering "Traian Lalescu"(CiTi) in collaboration with the "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia organized between 26-29 June 2022 International Symposium on Interdisciplinary Mathematics and International Workshop on Interdisciplinary Mathematics for Students ISIM&ISWIM 2022.

Edition ISIM & ISWIM 2022 was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the mathematician Eng. Traian LALESCU (July 1882) and had a component dedicated exclusively to students International Student Workshop on Interdisciplinary Mathematics in the CiTi areas (ISWIM).
